Mother in laws from hell.

An email to a bride-to-be from her future mother-in-law has gone viral on the internet and my view is this how would you cope with having a Mother in law from hell in your family as l am quite lucky l think because l am not married.

It could be contrued as the daughter-in-law from hell depending on your perspective of course...

If the woman had any real class she would not have used an e-mail or complained so much about the failings of her future daughter in law.

However the lack of manners shown by the future daughter in law warranted some comment to her face or a proper letter.

Definite lack of class from both parties.

If the future daughter-in-law behaved in the way described then she is just as rude and bad-mannered as the future mother-in-law.

I'd say they deserve each other.

the only good thing about my x mother in law is she lives in Florida -yep that's the only good point.

I wish to point out that not all ma-in-laws are from hell.Some are absolutely fabulous..Mine for example.

And I don't think it is an easy job being a mother-in-law.One of these days I'll probably be one myself and how my role goes depends on my future in-law to be.

my mother in law is awsome, but this woman is nuts banging on about manners, well here's manners for you why dont you check that she's not diabetic before serving her stuff that could put her in hospital, then have ago at her for not eating it.

my ex mother in law tends to pull the pin and toss a hand grenade into family affairs just to see who she can hurt ,she promises the world and delivers nothing but pain ,we tend not to hear from her for a couple of years, and then when you think its safe to come out from hiding boom off goes another bomb shell and she's stirring up trouble again . i still get the fall out from the trouble as she upsets my ex and my sons not to mention the family's of her other 8 children , that's a lot of grandchildren and partners suffering

Yes my sister suffered from an abusive MIL BUT not as much as her husband did.She was a Mommy Dearest from what I saw of her.

Yes we must not put every mother-in-law on the same level as this one because as Maggy says ther are some very nice mother-in-laws out there.

Thats 100% right, my Mother in law was a lovely woman, & my Mum was a superb Mother in law to my wife, perhaps we were lucky.

I think my mother in law is great, being a Scot, they can be tough, and l think my wife is following in her footsteps.

I have been happliy married for 36 years now, so she can't be that bad. So if you want a good mother in law, marry a Scot.
