The UK's worst 'paper' sinks to a new, disgraceful level of journalism from one of the worst people in the country, Liz Jones.
Instead of begging for money, complaining that the banks won't allow her to get even more into debt or whining that rich men do not find a torn faced, debt ridden lunatic an attractive proposition for a date this week she decided to go to Bristol to have an in-depth look at the murder enquiry of Joanna Yeates.

If you can bring yourself to read the whole article basically she is moaning the pub where Joanna Yates spend her last night wasn't very nice and bridge tolls can't be faked by buttons instead of coins.

The bar is OK but ordinary. The wine list, chalked on a board, says ‘Lauren Perrier’.

I wish she had spent what were probably her last hours on earth somewhere lovelier.

There is now an angry queue behind me. Isn’t it interesting that you can snatch a young woman’s life away from her in the most violent, painful, frightening way possible, take away her future children, her future Christmases, take away everything she loves, and yet there are elaborate systems in place to ensure you do not cross a bridge for only 30 pence?

She really is a horrible excuse for a human being let alone a journalist.

This crap sheet never fails to amaze me in how low it will sink for a so called "story", this pathetic excuse for a journalist has written no more than glorified gossip.

What an earth has the above mawkish ridiculous rubbish got to do with the murder of a young girl?.....absolutely nothing.
The Daily Hate has been getting worse and worse over the years with its gutter journalism, but even by their low standards Jones latest offering really is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I head up the hill towards Clifton, the leafy part of the city. It’s quieter now, and darker. I find Tesco, and go in. I almost buy that upmarket pizza; the choice tells me Jo wanted a lovely life, something above the ordinary.

Yes, as opposed to all those people that don't want a lovely life. Thank heavens we can can find out people's desire for happiness in their choice of pizza. I presume if she got the tesco value range pizza that would be evidence she wanted an unhappy life.

You do have to admire the capacity for cynicism some people have. It takes a rare type of person to travel to the scene of a murder and conclude that the bar is rubbish, people should leave notes with their flowers, it's shame the street lights may be changed and I can't believe you need to pay a 50p bridge toll. Even when someone runs to give her the 50p, an act most people would view as an act of kindness, she manages to dismiss is as 'one monster is all it takes'. Brilliant.

As someone in those comments said, you can't help but feel it's something from Brass Eye or The Day Today. Incidentally it really is a cause for concern when even the Daily Mail's commentators think you've gone too far.

During the snow, she complained that the local council hadn't cleared some farm track in the middle of nowhere so she had to walk 50yards.

I can't work out which demograpic of society she thinks she's representing?

Apart from that it was pointless ,i wish the booth operators(does it have any?) on the bridge had lifted her for trying to use buttons for money

try reading some of the comments to the article ,they are hilarious .Usually you get a mix of approval/disapproval to articles but this one is a resounding disapproval

a beautiful and moving piece - i love the way you retraced her steps and told us about pizza, veggie burgers and reminded us that the Clifton suspension bridge costs 50p. I was there a while back and whilst i had the correct money (a tip - leave some coins in the car - just 10 pences - they soon accumulate when you are typing such majestic prose) that way you wont have to rely on the goodness of strangers - or create a tailback at a toll booth - people who have had to live with murder and grief and now people who only have 30p. Keep up the good, nae beautiful work Liz - although i thought it could have been improved with a nod in the direction of Maddie McCann and the availability of quality seafood at the resort - and Princess Diana's wake (and the nibbles available)
