granted we don't know why they did it (which may be a massive contributing factor), but all the same, that's no way leave an animal.

Animal cruelty of any kind is against the law, full stop. Any unwanted pet should be taken to the RSPCA, or somewhere it can either be re homed, or humanely euthanised by a vet.

Not wanting to defend animal cruelty but we don't know
the full circumstances around this but maybe the owner
meant to leave the dog for a few minues and had an
accident?

Re: Dog left to die in freezing alley

What I don't understand is that they tell you not to buy dogs etc for Christmas, yet a couple of times on TV just literally one or two days before Christmas I've seen programs like Daybreak etc, asking people to have a dog for Christmas. Just asking for trouble.

I can't begin to understand how people can mistreat any animal when there are other better ways to deal with things if they can't cope with them. Lost for words on this one.
