I was guessing to the way it was written. No worries and getting stuff for free. Just an observation. It might not have been the year of birth like I had guessed.
I don't go trolling younger members and I don't know what made you think that. And yes it's your forum. I know.

Sounds like someone has all the answers..
Pity most are wrong..
Go read your connections terms and conditions, then try explaining to your parents one day why their internet connection has ceased to exist or why they're getting £800 requests from solicitors

I had all the answers at that age, most of mine were wrong aswell
At the end of the day if daddy knows what you are doing then its his problem if something does happen. I know someone on another forum who was hit with a letter demanding payment for a download and he was not at all impressed with his kids but as I said if Daddy knows then thats up to him

You /could/ get into trouble for downloading one song. As for nothing's happened yet - the important thing to remember there is the 'yet' part

You mean stealing 800 songs and if it's via P2P you're also illegally distributing 800 songs

Unless you've specifically set your P2P client not to then yes you are.

Loads of people break other laws as well. Doesn't make it OK.

Actually it won't be you they go after, it will be the name on your internet account ... daddy, probably. Whether they go for you or someone else is a bit of a lottery. Just don't think that 'only' downloading 800 songs is any defence, or that it makes you less likely to get done.

Just because you want something to be true or to go your way doesn't mean it will do. Maybe you should listen / read some of the advice people are giving you?

You don't seem to understand the recent decision as to the 3 strikes law.. That law meant that ISP would be forced to cut you off. They currently still have that option and always have had it and often do use it..
The virgin media terms and conditions state the following (the bits in red are most relevant to your actions
Quote:
D Using the services
1.You are responsible for the way the services are used. You must not use the services to do any of the following acts or allow anyone else to use the services to do such acts:
a. Send a message or communication that is offensive, abusive, defamatory (damages someone's reputation), obscene, menacing or illegal;
b. Cause annoyance, nuisance, inconvenience or needless worry to, or break the rights of, any other person;
c. Perform any illegal activity;
d. Break, or try to break, the security of anyone else's equipment, hardware or software;
e. Deliberately receive, use, own, post, transmit or publish obscene material (including, but not limited to, child pornography);
f. Upload, post, publish or transmit any information or software that is protected by copyright or other ownership rights without the permission of its owner;
