which is real life ,if people will get drunk or cause trouble in the nick then they should expect to be treated in a like manner by a copper who has better things to do than babysit drunk nasty females ,only got herself to blame

What's the difference in beating your wife that doesn't do what she's told, to beating her whilst in custody if she doesn't do what she's told?
or are you not talking about beating, and just a bit of man handling?

Can she appeal? The photo of her injuries and the blood on the cell floor may give ground for an appeal.

Better things to do? like what? catching burglars? no because they are busy catching females, sleeping in their car?

one thing that i was concerned about is where does that leave the police officer that reported the incident in the first place

The case was brought after one of Andrews' colleagues reported the matter to senior officers, who have apologised to Ms Somerville.

Tell me Gary have you ever tried to get anyone into a room if they don't want to go.How many do you think it will take? And how many cops are likely to get kicked, scratched, bitten in the process with the cops being as gentle as they can?

If they do it properly and as they've been trained. the risks are minimal.
