Errmmm well it wasn't in the front of my mind but you can if you want to. I was just posing a question relating to this case.....

Just pointing out that, just because a priest does/says something, that it is not automatically God's work.

Yes I realise that which is why I used a "?" and not a "!" It signifies a question as opposed to a statement. You know, for debate. This is a discussion forum after all and the idea is to generate some....

However, just to clarify for you further, I don't believe that a vicar doling out dodgy marriage certificates is any more an example of the clergy (or God's work) as a whole than a bent copper is typical of the police service in general. I am aware however that there are those who'd disagree and hence the OP.........
