Problem is it depends how you interpret his post, theres not much to go off, I read it differently to how you have. My head hurts. I read it as "you bomb us we bomb you" but I may be wrong, as I said there wasnt much to go off, again.

that's why i put the "hope" in  because i could be reading it wrong
well putting that aside for a mo ,i would be more concerned on the mails interpretation .They seem to be going down the rout of "hard done by EDF member attacked by police without provocation" . I don't think it's likely that the police would authorise use of such weapons without good cause ,no smoke without fire and all that

Such a level of good cause, that they were released without charge very quickly.
I have given a possible scenario as to why this occurred and an example of a similar, totally biased over-reaction.
