Your country, before and after
I just wanted to make this thread to see what things used to look like before and after, anywhere, England, Spain, America, Iran, wherever...
These are pictures of Afghanistan before and after war, as you can see Afghanistan looked a lot nicer before then it does now.
Does anyone else have any pictures they want to share?
This is Paghman in 1929, and then in 2004
This is Paghman in 1967, and then in 2004
This is Kabul in the 1960s, and then now
This is Kabul in 1970, and then in 1993

Wow Kymmy, that looks like a film set for 'Oliver'. You can almost imagine Bill Sikes peering from an upstairs window.

The linky to imageshack, has a trojan in it. Avast threw a wobbler when I clicked it.
However - very good comparison pictures, would imagine that the radiogram(?) is still going strong in someones house. Pity the same can't be said for their country.

Which part of Sandwell matey? Dad Nug was a headmaster there for the best part of 30 years, and Mum Nug was a teacher in a different school.
EDIT: Although, until I invent that time machine, photos after this government may be a problem

My avast has detected a trojan, this is a machine which has just had Windows 7 installed on it yesterday. I think those images might be being exploited, I suggest everyone run a virus scan.
