Its a shame the papers dont see it like that. Instead they print, repeatedly quoting some mad man saying he will have to watch attacks from the Muslim youth. Why papers give time to comments like that I dont know, oh though it could be to sell papers. The whole thing is pathetic and why the hell Lilly Allen had to comment on it I dont know

Equally funny things as well i prefer him he is a breath of fresh air most of the time i wish more people were less concerned about what they say i prefer a world where people are blunt and to the point rather then false niceness.

FGS, what is this obsession with getting offended that we (as a society) seem to have?
Jeremy Clarkson is someone who is occasionally outspoken. Some people like him for it (like me), and some don't. Those who don't are not forced to watch, read or listen to him.
In the mean time, there seems to be a trend for people to get offended on behalf of others. Something which the newspapers try and build into a frenzy. This is achieving something far more insidious and dangerous than merely offending people. It's causing the media to censor increasing amounts of potentially offensive content. That, to my mind, does far more damage to society than a joke about the burqa.
