Yep. Theft and/or criminal damage.

Of course if the CPS decided to run with it given they've put their own videos up on the internet and it got to court all you would need is some half-wit judge to agree that they can break the law with impunity if they thought they were acting in good faith.

About time BP went on the offensive over blame

A "sequence of failures involving a number of different parties" was to blame for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, BP says.

I thought the US polticians were blaming the british as in British Petroleum which is wholly wrong.

You have to blame someone and without risking your own business, BP are blaming it on a series of companies who they contracted. They are partly right in doing so, but me being me, I lay the blame on BP (American branch ).
