Weekend fun with the EDL and chums

Yep another Saturday and another riot in an English town.

Of course the UAF organiser reckons the Police are all closet racists although judging from the video clips the violence being contained by the Police seems to come from the UAF protestors.

Depending where you get your news from the amount of arrests vary but it seems clear UAF were on the receiving end of the handcuffs more than the EDL which makes me wonder if the EDL have realised they can portray themselves as the victim to try and gain some publicity as put-upon patriots rather than the collection of football hooligans they really are.

That's exactly what it is. I'm not saying the UAF are angels but this is the first time an EDL march has turned out this way and it's worrying how smart they're getting.

Sadly with this Governments inability to get a grip of immigration these scenes will become all too part of life in the future.
The government need to realise that they have a responsibility if they want to see this kind of behaviour disappear from our streets.

I don't think that'll ever happen. Whilst nobody will openly say it, the government are happy for it to be implied that anyone against immigration is racist.

Surely it wasn't that long ago that Liebour ministers where on the TV, and radio saying we needed to have a serious, and mature discussion about immigration. I'm fairly sure they where of the opinion that just because a person though excessive immigration was a bad thing, it didn't make them a racist/fascist.... Or maybe it's just more smoke and mirrors at election time....

Yes they tend to do that sort of thing around election time and then not deliver on all the promises. Odd that isn't it?....

Reports from the local press, Tv and radio have firmly placed the trouble at the weekend at the feet of UAF

Now that concerns me as i would have bet on it being the Neanderthals in the EDL. The council and the police have said they will publish the CCTV footage for all to see to back up there claim

I hope they are wrong as to who started this trouble.

These demonstrations have nothing whatsoever to do with the government's policy on immigration. This is about a bunch of racist thugs, out to cause as much trouble as possible. These gits are not a new phenomenon, they have been around for decades, the current immigration conditions have nothing to do with it.
