Christians and Muslims clash, possibly 300+ dead.

There have been renewed clashes between gangs of Christians and rival gangs of Muslims in Central Nigeria, with the head of one mosque claiming that he has counted as many as 192 corpses.
A 24-hour curfew has been imposed by authorities in the city of Jos in an attempt to quell the violence that the BBC and Al Jazeera both say began on Sunday and has continued with seemingly little interruption since. The police and military are working together to try and restore peace. As for the cause of the violence in Jos, capital of the Plateau State, the Voice of America and the Canadian Press cite incidents in which Christian youths protested against the building of a mosque in a largely Christian part of the city and the burning of a Catholic church by Muslim youths.

From reading more into it. it seems this is quite a common occurrence in Nigeria.
I'd be in the 10% that are of no fixed religion

A 'faith' cannot fight. It is a thing, a belief, a set of ideas. People can, of course, fight in the name of that faith, regardless of what that faith's originators taught on the subject of fighting.

This has been happening for years..Muslims against the other tribes and Christians. It's essentially what the Biafran War was about..

it is quite sad that religions/beliefs/faith have to clash in the first place, but that's what makes humanity what it is.
