woman hid terror manual in Burka.
Quote:
Houria Chahed Chentouf, 41, admitted two counts of possessing documents likely to be useful for a terrorist purpose, at Manchester Crown Court.
Evidence was also uncovered from internet chat rooms which indicated her support for those seeking martyrdom.
But Judge Michael Henshell, sentencing, said the Crown had accepted that she had no intention of using the material.
Despite the huge amount of material found on the pen drive there was "no evidence you intended to pass it on to anybody", the judge added.

"We do know she has got known and established links to extremists abroad and that puts us on notice to be concerned.
"She is on our radar and she will know she is on our radar so I think we are in a better position than we were a year ago."
|
So she has no intention to pass it on, but has connections with terrorism?
can't we just deport her before the event, rather than after it?

Officers recovered a revealing hand-written letter left in her home in Holland in which she urged "forgive me, myself and my children seek revenge" and referred to herself and her children being "bombs for the sake of this religion".

She was obviously joking.

I hate how they say "terror manual" like it's a standard manual given out to terrorists. It's obviously just some random documents/bits of paper.

for them it probably is a manual, more than likely there is a network of "librarians" all with copies of this sort of thing being distributed all over the world by patsies like this woman

Why would this woman conceal this information, after all, information on weapon making is freely available on the Al-Q website.

try logging onto the AL-Q website and you'll find 20 anti terror squad coppers on you're doorstep
realistically this is the only practical way of moving the info about ...as long as it doesn't fall out of you're pocket

Also, it was on a USB stick in her sleeve - it wouldn't have mattered if it was a burqa, a blouse, or a long-sleeved dress; just not as emotive.....

They could have said Muslim woman. but they didn't. and you're still moaning for them saying burqa or burka.
her sleeve was the burka or burqa. and I think the point was to say that it was hidden.

I know. but which one would be less emotive, for the sake of not coming across as emotive.

Re: woman hid terror manual in Burka.
Strange how she isn't wearing a burqa in the article photo.
The Press Association's version of this story

Perhaps she wasn't trying to hide anything when the photo was taken, perhaps the burqa was only worn at the time as a convenient clothing of concealment.

I thought it more likely to be her mug shot, but then again I wonder if they can keep their burqa on for human rights reasons.
