But fox hunting could be regarded as just one means to control a pest. Dog fighting is simply there for entertainment. If foxes weren't so "cute" and linked with folk tails would we have cared so much? That the creatures can get into the coop and simply kill every bird present when at most it needs one.
My aunt in law's views of badgers isn't printable. She's a dairy farmer firmly in the belief of the link between TB and the little black and white furries.

because that would be too easy and make far too much sense about the same as building a chicken coup that a fox can't get into ,that is the lamest justification for fox hunting i have ever heard

Very well said as I am unable to see why any sport is been able to scare a animal to a inch of it's life and then get ripped apart by a bunch of dogs?
I have a good idea lets get a human covered in fox scent and chased and see how they feel

couldn't give two monkeys about that they pay for themselves anyway in other sports that don't involve ripping animals apart .All the pre ban hype about the countryside going bankrupt because of the ban has proved groundless

Yes no animal should have be/or been ripped apart as this will set off the endangered species going? All animals are part of the fabric of life and they always have been? With The Homo-Sapiens been the worst for eradicating species off this planet. It is still happening today IMHO

Re: Bring Back Fox Hunting
I have no qualms about killing an animal but only on the condition that it's a clean kill and it's something I'm gonna eat.. That's the difference between sport and food.. Killing for sport is the difference between homo-sapiens and the rest of the species on the planet

and killer whales

and chimpanzees
and many others - Time
The old "animals only kill for food" has been shown to be a myth....

But Lorenz was wrong; since 1963, when his book was published, naturalists have identified dozens of species that kill their own, including lions, hippos, bears, wolves, hyenas, herring gulls and more than 15 types of primates other than man.

Re: Bring Back Fox Hunting
I did say for sport.... Yes some animals may kill needlessly but humans are the only ones who not only organise it for entertainment but also have contests based on killing needlessly..

And that is what I meant as well.
