Sadly, I don't think it will be. This has been brewing for some time, the Army knew it would come, & in typical style, did nothing. Try this at a Royal Marine barracks & you would have a car full of dead terrorists now.

"Try this at a Royal Marine barracks & you would have a car full of dead terrorists now."

Thanks for the hypothetical bravado, much appreciated.

SMG Unfortunately you would have the royal marines on murder charges because I think it is against the law to kill terorists!

And to think some do gooders wanted to give the cowards that carry out these cowardly attacks payments ????. I hope the Army hunts them down and shots them like the deranged animals they are.

Well said that man, best thing to do is get the troops out and leave them to their own devices, if they want to kill each other let them do it.

I confess my ignorance to this sort of thing but how can it happen inside an Army base?

Eyewitness reports have suggested the victims were taking a pizza delivery when the shooting began.
Perhaps the attackers were in the pizza delivery vehicle?

After nearly 40 years of the troops being there pull the lot out, Northern Ireland is a drain on the UK Tax payers money, many people over there don't want help they want to carry on with some daft religious statement that was written over 200 years ago. It's 2009 for gods sake.

That is a sub-optimal interpretation of facts - rules of engagement, and all that (I still have mine, and there is nothing in there that states you have to stand and be a target).

Anyhoo, back to the topic - poor bloody engineers, I hope the wounded ones recover, and we catch the perps.

Joe Public should be protected correct.

However

The sooner these pond scum are removed from decent society the better, Don't forget these cowards come from the same cowardly mold that targeted children outside a McDonald's in Warrington and subsequently killed 2 children, I have no time for cowards that have the potential to kill innocent children as means to a end and have the deepest hope that they meet there end in the worst possible way.
