Bruce Burford was reported to have pedalled a bicycle at 334.6 KPH. In 1962 the record was set by Jose Meiffret on an unfaired bike riding behind a car with a wind protector fixed to it at a speed of 204.76 KPH. Sam Whittingham is unlikely to be the fastest cyclist with a paltry 82.3 MPH.
