I don't give a flying whatsit. They deserve everything that is given to them. If you carry a knife to MacDonald's then you must have decided you might need to use it. I don't go walking around with a knife capable of stabbing someone in the heart. So why should they.
I fully agree with the thread title ?

That's sadly true but possibly had the parents in question done a better job of bringing up their kids none of this would have happened.

Re: Live by the sword die by the sword?
Without knowing the background you cannot blame the parents. Children make their own choices as they grow up and if one of them choices is to become violent then what can a parent do?
A parent cant properly chastise their children anymore the rights to that have been taken away. The law does not punish kids anymore its just a slap on the wrist so deterrents have been taken awa. When I was 16 I was done for a crime im not proud of (no one was hurt ) and I got Attendance Centre every other Saturday. That was not a pleasant place to be trust me.
I wont turn round and put more blame on the looney lefties who have made the country soft but I do

That's why I used the word 'possibly'.

I've read the story 3 times and I still can't seem to find the bit that says he brought the knife.

If you'd have been stabbed to death then it seems as a piece of scum it would have been a result, saved the tax payer a few bob and very few people would have shed any tears.

I think they've just given up. There's nothing in this story to say the victim (yes the victim) was guilty of anything whatsoever. Charges had been brought in 2 other cases but its for the courts to decide on guilt.
I'd leave the country if some of you people got into power. "He threw an apple core? String 'im up!!!"

Re: Live by the sword die by the sword?
Fact that this person was involved in two other very unpleasant cases says a lot about him does it not ???. I always wonder why it is some people expect anyone to give a damn when pieces of crap meet an unpleasant end it used to be called poetic justice but nowadays its "think of the poor parents" or some other excuse for why they are what they are.
I don't blame the parents of these kids straight away they might deserve it but probably not but either way the person in question was not a nice person and i would rather he is dead then he carry on the line his life seemed to be taking where he would have probably taken more life. As has been said who the hell goes to mcdonalds carrying a knife unless said person is at some point looking to use it on some poor sod.
As for where are the liberals to be honest who the hell cares anymore i would like to think they have retreated to consider the damage they have done for the last thirty years but seriously doubt it.

Quite right - well I'm sure he was a loving, caring young lad who never did anything wrong in his life and just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time more than once in his short life...
