Post Council urged to 'monitor tensions'

Quote:
Bradford Council was last night urged to better map their communities and "monitor tensions" in a bid to stop any repeat of the riots in 2001.

Communities Secretary Hazel Blears published new guidance encouraging local authorities to work towards more integrated communities.

She wants councils to map the racial, ethnic and faith communities in their areas in order to identify potential "tension hotspots" and improve cohesion.

One really has to wonder where some of these councillors and this Minister live as it clearly not on this planet.

More than half the cars in certain should not be on the roads and yet the Police dare not do anything about this in case they do spark a riot.

They dare not conduct stop and search in areas other than the leafy suburbs.

Bradford is a no-go area for many residents and certainly for the Police.
