Re: The Boris Johnson Thread
Just seen footage of Boris riding his bike through red traffic lights on ITV's London Today, (provided by the Daily Mirror) just like his leader, David Cameron did a few months ago.
This was followed by one of his interviews, where he commented that all cyclists should obey the laws of the road!

Mayor of London investigated over Iraq cigar case "war crime"

And so it starts..It does seem a stretch if Labour are behind this..

"But I immediately saw its importance. If this was the cigar case of Tariq Aziz, think of the scenes it had witnessed."
The mayor, who says he subsequently received a letter from Mr Aziz offering the case as a gift, claims the police only became involved after "Labour stooges" demanded he be prosecuted when they found an article he had written about the case.

Seems a bit of a non-story to me. He picked up a (pretty much) worthless item from a bombed out house that had already been looted. It's hardly an item of great historical/cultural/whatever significance.

Re: The Boris Johnson Thread
I'd be a lot more interested to know how George Galloway's name came to be on official Iraqi documents concerning oil payments then this non story. As the article says, Aziz has officially gifted him this "half a cigar case", it hardly falls under the title of fortunes of war.
