Maybe, just maybe, future school leavers will not be quite as retarded as in the past.
Education is the answer to everything.
Have to admit schools over here are extremely different to how i remember them, unsure if thats a good thing or not, for instance i dont believe a school needs a full out HDTV tv up on the wall with sky+ subscription (in all 3 main highschools here, they play the music video channels during lunch/break)...along with consoles in some school houses.

The school i used to go to you cannot get out of (or in, for that matter, past a set time without a swipe card)

every gate you have to put your swipe card through, so if any kids are ditchin lessons its the only way out and gets logged onto the system, i found that somewhat amusing...makes me glad im not at school anymore

Schools here are very hi-tech now...im still not sure half of it is needed though...

That is the -only- good thing labour has done while in power...everything else has been bad, bad, bad and more bad.

I wish people wouldnt try the old "but he put minimum wage into play"...yea...so he did, he also raised taxes at the same time and kept raising them so the minimum wage didnt make jack difference...people are still poor...

The problem a deputy head friend of mine used to have was that Labour would ringfence parts of the budget, so they could desperately need £10K to do up the science block, while having £20K ringfenced for a gym they didn't need.
