Same ones committing crimes

This may not be a big crime, but this guy is another with a history of numerous offences. My long term ex GF was a friend of his sister, and I remember him stealing clothes of clothes lines when he was still in school.

He has been caught and sentenced a number of times previously for breaking and entering into premises, I made myself vdry unpopular with his family years ago when I told them I would love to come home and find him in my house.

With prison figures at an all time new high, I guess this naughty boy will get a stern telling off and a bit of comminity service.

I guess thats why the arabs chopped thieves hands off. Do they still?

It's somewhat drastic but, I should imagine, is a gi-normous deterrent factor.

Crown court is no guarantee of a prison sentence, I believe they have just announced that prison figures are at an all time high with overcrowding at breaking point.

I expect that under the circumstances they are only putting violent offenders in prison as they have been for a while. My guess is although the guy is a complete nuisnace to soiety he will end up with some type of community service and perhaps tagging.

The current climate seems to be the softest we have ever treated offenders, all because th government has not git its finger out to build more prisons.
