Re: New National Anthem?
DOnt spend money on a new national anthem cause in 20 years we will just have the masses shouting Allah Akbar in the streets if us Muslims have our own way. And you will all be reading the Daily Taliban instead of the Currant Bun.

Gets my vote.
Needs to be something uplifting and powerful (like LoHaG) but new and refreshing, in a classical style.

Saaf, I reckon you are lucky not to get a warning from the mods, for posting porn.

On the contrary, she'll be wearing a few more clothes, but the words coming out of her speech bubble will still be calling for the return of capital punishment and sex offenders having their balls cut off, and isn't it dreadful what these secular liberals are doing to the country. The journey from loony British/American right wing cheerleader to religious fundamentalism isn't that long, really.

Re: New National Anthem?
How about Nkosi sikelel' iGreat Britain?
Nkosi sikelel' iGreat Britain
Maluphakanyisw' uphondo lwayo,
Yizwa imithandazo yethu,
Nkosi sikelela, thina lusapho lwayo.
Morena boloka setjhaba sa heso,
O fedise dintwa la matshwenyeho,
O se boloke, O se boloke setjhaba sa heso,
Setjhaba sa Great Britain - Great Britain.
Uit die blou van onse hemel(hempstead),
Uit die diepte van ons see,
Oor ons ewige gebergtes,
Waar die kranse antwoord gee,
Sounds the call to come together,
And united we shall stand,
Let us live and strive for freedom,
In Great Britain our land.
