Personally I couldn't care less where we measure time from, but as it stands Greenwich hasn't done a bad job of it so far, if it were to change, on a global scale along with the time zones Id want it to be because of empirical proof, not religious dogma.

Re: Muslim call to adopt Mecca time
Pretty much. He also implicitly denied the existence of working air traffic control systems, MRI machines, magnetic declination...
A few cursory checks to see his qualifications don't show up much. This might be the guy:

Flowcytometric evaluation of DNA and hormonal receptor expression in breast tumors.

...but I can't find any mention of him having published anything in peer reviewed journals or for the organisation listed, let alone anything even remotely relevant. Gets weirder and weirder the deeper you delve!

I had a black Cameroon friend stop at my house last weekend, but I guess that would also constitute the comment of 'Classic' would it not?

No it would not, if you said:
"I am not racist, I had a black Cameroon friend stop at my house last weekend"
Then it would be classic since it's a common statement made by people who use it to say they are not racist when of course it's irrelevant and seems to miss the fact that:
1) Racism is not always White to Black
2) You can be racist against one group and not another, so you can have no racial issues with black people but hate Asians
My point was his comment is a classic and often-used comment.

Its not really that simple though is it, for example my last girlfriend was Asian. But on the other hand there are Asian countries that I am dead against for their actions, that is not about skin colour or the fact that they are Asian it's about their actions or lack of them.
If I made the statement 'I am not racist, I have black friends' or 'I'm not racist I have Asian friends' both statements would be true.

Then saying your not racist because you have a asian/black friend is irrelevant. Having a black/asian friend is not indicative of your own views on racism. You can easily not be racist and have no friends from a ethnic minority, likewise the reverse if true you can have a friend of another race but still be racist.
In other words, what does having a black friend have to do with anything?

It seems that those who say "I can't be racist, I have black friends" don't really understand what being racist is.
Usually to them, being racist means killing blacks on sight, petrol bombing their homes, etc

It highlights that disliking someone or a group who just happen to be from a certain race, does not automatically mean the dislike is because they are a different race.
For example having a Nigerian friend but disliking Nigerian scammers is not being racist.

No, because scammers are not a race.
Having a Nigerian friend, but hating Nigerians because they are Nigerian is being racist.
There are countless stories of black men being involved with the NF, either through irony, protest, or being racist themselves. Does that mean that the NF weren't racist because they had black members?
