Travellers-can they be accomodated in our society?

Thats a rather naive view i have not in all the years i have dealt with pikey's met any that had anything but their own interests and money at heart. I have no problem with travellers i have a problem with people that call themselves travellers and never bloody go anywhere.

Tell me about it! where i grew up we had the same, never went anywhere but called themselfs travellers, caused nothing but trouble all day everyday, always around in a big gang mouthing off, quiet as a mouse if your saw one on their own though!

Council and police are -very- scared of the travellers where i used to live, infact the police would often turn a blind eye if travellers were causing trouble or kicking the crap out of someone!

It got so bad here that one day a group of people had decided they had just had enough of it all and they ended up calling in loads of other gangs from different areas to go down where the travellers lived to kick em out!

Alot happened that day...but of course the police soon turned up to stop people from entering...they wouldnt if it was the other way around, though.
