Scuffles mar Olympic torch relay

Complaints about the Chinese "flame guards" are being submitted by the Home office to the games organisers, apparently these "guards" had no powers but were seen by many to be ordering the police around. Their role was meant to be to position themselves between the flame and any protesters, allowing the police to handle any over zealous protesters, but on numerous occasions they were seen to manhandle people. Shadow Home Secretary David Davies, not known for his liberal views, has asked the Home Secretary to comment on their role, and Seb Coe, chairman of the London 2012 organising body, referred to them as "horrible thugs".

I think your right papa, I imagine we will have stories of visitors being harassed by over zealous officials, failure to lift Internet restrictions for the duration of the games, and numerous other petty restrictions imposed by the Chinese regime.
