DIY satellite TV installer shoots wife dead
Found this on the Reg. Maybe this guy could get a job as a Sky or VM tech.

Re: DIY satellite TV installer shoots wife dead
I've heard of cowboy installers but this is taking the term a little to literally. Either his house wasn't built of brick or he must had a very powerful gun.

You haven't played COD4. Hiding behind walls is not good for your health with bullets whizzing through all sorts of stuff on a regular basis.

Re: DIY satellite TV installer shoots wife dead
I truely wish us non-Americans were clever enough to think of such clever things to solve our general every-day problems!. I dont suppose the law will allow that American of supreme intellegence to write anything like "The Ultimate Global DIY Rule Book" would they?.
If only so us thick backwards nations could follow in there superior footsteps?!!!.

Do you remember that Discovery channel advert?
Young bloke hears an argument from the couple next door and goes to listen at the wall.
Camera pans to next door, and elderly couple are arguing about drilling a hole to put a picture up.
The drill is obviously too long, and distracted, the man suddenly goes all the way through the wall, followed by the sound of a thud from next door.
The woman is left to ask "Hans, what have you done?" with a shocked look on her face.

Re: DIY satellite TV installer shoots wife dead
I seem to remember a thread on here earlier last year where one of the cable installation guys told of a fellow installer who had inadvertently drilled into a pet who was sleeping against the wall.
On second thought maybe my memory is playing trick on me. Off I go to try and find the thread.
OK I've found a couple, but it seems as though my memory combined them a little.
