I think from that group Richard Widmark belonged to ie, great actors from the 40s and 50s, I can only think of Charlton Heston and Kirk Douglas who are left. Rest in Peace Richard, you gave a lot of people a lot of joy in your life, and no matter what that will continue.

He was one of the old school of actors, who gave quality performances.
Remember him well from his TV Series "Madigan" and from the number of cowboys, cops, FBI agents etc he played in what was a distinguished career.

A very watchable actor who always gave his best in his performances.
Also I'm glad to hear that he had lived longer than I thought as I could have sworn he died some time ago.
