Honourable MP's
I've started quite a few threads bashing our glorious leaders so I thought it time to redress the balance and start a thread dedicated to the honourable and decent amongst them (and yes I know it may well turn out to be a very short list ).
Anyway my vote goes to Frank Field who in my opinion is a thoroughly decent, honest and hardworking man who'd definitely get my vote. He was the one Bliar told to 'think the unthinkable' with regard to welfare reform and rewarded for so doing with the sack!

Do any other names spring to mind?

I have some respect for David Davies the Monmouthshire Conservative MP, he is rubbished by many but seems to have the spine that so many lack.

Re: Honourable MP's
I thought that MPs had lost all concept of honour, other than "honour among MPs".

Re: Honourable MP's
The words 'honourable' and 'MPs' just don't go together. When I think of MPs the words that spring to my mind are lying, cheating, amoral, immoral, self seeking and self centred to name but a few.
On second thoughts that's probably an insult to liars, cheats etc.

Re: Honourable MP's
Judging by the response so far, it's really not looking all that good for our MP's is it!

Re: Honourable MP's
I like Iain Duncan Smith. As far as I can tell he is a top bloke, and nothing too iffy comes to mind about him.
Also like David Davis (shadow home secretary) a lot.

Re: Honourable MP's
I also think William Hague is a very decent guy and an excellent orator.

Re: Honourable MP's
Lets be honest Osem you were letting your optimism cloud you here lol. Yeah i second the william hague, IDS and david davis but isn't it funny how those three are all conservatives and many of us are struggling to think of a labour one.
