Party goes, ahem, Pete Tong..
In the slang sense (Pete Tong is slang for Wrong), rather ironically..
A family in Bovey Tracy near Cornwall is facing a potentially large clean up/repair bill after the daughter held a part, which the Radio 1 DJ gave a "Shout Out" to.
He usually doesn't give enough info in these shout outs to actually find this party, but he mentioned that it was in a mansion. I can't imagine there are many mansions in Bovey Tracy (a small village).
As a result, around 2,000 people turned up to the mansion, shich can deal with 70 easily, but not 2,000, and left a trail of cans and bottles running from the mansion to the village (some two miles).

Well IMO it's not Pete Tong or the BBC's Fault, its the fault of whoever requested the shout. I heard that this party was also talked about on this persons Facebook/Myspace Thingy.
They should have invited Pete to the party what a way to impress your mates Pete Tong on the decks at your house party

I haven't got much sympathy for 'em, frankly - the girl allegedly rang the show for the 'shout-out' in addition to advertising the party on t'internet and putting posters up at school.
To be honest, I'm surprised that there were only 2000 people there

Is it a coincidence that Eastenders had a house trashing party storyline yesterday?

Best thing about it is she's not 18 until October. If I were the local plod I'd be asking questions as to where they got their hands on so much beer?
