Actually rizzy, over the last two decades so much views like stringing them up are common place is the minds of small people. I would be happy if these tatty views had stayed in their small brains and alas they have not!

Russ what crap you talk. You can't say you believe in justice when you back hate campaigns like the one Denise Fergus has been involved in! If we still had the death penalty would you have backed the death sentence for two primary school kids? Would have have satisfied you sense of justice? I'm sure Mrs Fergus would have wanted them executed!

All of your posts seem to filled with hatred for Denise Fergus ,and i do mean hatred ,Why is this, has she done something to you personally? you keep comparing her to a Nazi , do you even know anything about Nazis and how stupid it makes you look making that comparison .You criticise her for being filled with hatred against the two boys that tortured and murdered her son ,SHE'S ALLOWED TO FEEL HATRED TOWARDS THEM THEY KILLED HER SON .Have you stopped for one second to try to put yourself in her position and think how you would feel if it was your child that was murdered .I wouldn't stop until i had personally tore them limb from limb ,which brings me onto the subject of this crass remark and i quote

that sentence seems to be implying that Denise Fergus is wrong to have such a close bond with her son and she and other mothers should temper that bond so they won't feel so much hurt and anger if anything should happen to their children .I would suggest that you refrain from commenting on the bonds of parent and child until you have at least some experience in being a parent

Why does the liberal media have it in for Denise Fergus, mother of murdered toddler James Bulger, describing her Justice for James campaign as "threatening", her supporters as a "lynch mob", and Fergus herself as being possessed of "Scouse self-delusion"?

It isn't because these high-minded journalists oppose the idea of the victims of crime showing their wounds in public or getting to have special meetings with politicians or the police. Indeed, their fawning support for Doreen Lawrence, mother of murdered teenager Stephen Lawrence, shows that they love victims as much as any tabloid.

No, it is because Denise Fergus is the wrong kind of victim. Too angry, too foul-mouthed, too uncouth, too much make-up, too working-class, too Liverpudlian.

The problem with Fergus is that she hasn't learned the cosmopolitan etiquette of how to be a Respectable Victim, one who is capable of giving intelligent interviews to the Guardian or delivering quietly profound speeches at conferences on crime, and the broadsheets hate her for it.

For the past decade, since Jon Venables and Robert Thompson, the killers of James Bulger, were released on life licence in 2001, the respectable media have had their knives out for Fergus.

Just because she says things like "I am still full of hate" and expresses the view that Venables and Thompson should have stayed in jail for life - perfectly understandable emotions for the mother of the toddler they killed - the media look upon her as a one-woman lynch mob.

In 2001, Charlotte Raven sneered at Fergus's "back alley threats" against Venables and Thompson, and said she and her supporters should be "condemned to rot in Kirby [in Liverpool] until such time as society is satisfied they no longer present a threat". She said Fergus's victim act was a product of "Scouse self-delusion" and fretted about the threat posed by "Scouse justice" to child criminals in Britain.

Mary Riddell expressed the same sentiments, only more politely. Under the headline "The mob must not rule", she damned the "spirit of hatred and vengeance" leaking from the Denise Fergus bandwagon, and described Justice for James as "anachronistic, even threatening".

I live in Liverpool and treat that paper with the contempt that it deserves, as you have read my posts I would have thought that you would have realised that.

I feel contempt for those 2 murderers in the same way as most people do in this thread and in the real world.

All you are here for is to irritate and annoy people with your tirade of abuse about a mother whose child was cruelly stolen by 2 young murderers who as I have stated before actually planned this atrocity.

I really wonder what they may have gone on to do if not caught at such a young age.

It's a terrific addition..and means you never have to listen to anyone's daft opinions ever again..

Not sure if your begin sarcastic or not. I haven't seen critical articles of her in the Guardian, they are just not jumping on her campaign. There is a difference.
