Great News From Iraq
They're only the third most corrupt country in the world, after Somalia and Burma.
In other news, apparently the US intelligence boys don't think Iran are pursuing nuclear weapons. Can't wait to see how John 'The Mad Moustache' Bolton plays this. Oh wait:

"While I was in the administration, I saw intelligence march up the hill and down the hill in short periods of time with no reason for them to change their mind," said John R. Bolton, Bush's former ambassador to the United Nations. "I've never based my view on this week's intelligence."

Except when he thought it supported him. They don't give a damn about the facts, never have and that's why they're repeatedly wrong about everything.

Re: Great News From Iraq
With a bit more effort we should be cracking the top ten any time.
Actually, compared with places which really do have dysfunctional kleptocratic governments (or no government at all, like Somalia*), we don't come off too badly.
* Although Belgium seems to do all right.
