What planet are the Japs on? Why do they slaughter whales and dolphins? Here we have 2 of the most intelligent animals of the sea being killed for the sake of money. It's about time we stopped buying products made by the Japs, it might teach them a lesson.

Re: Real heroes
Japan does not have much arable or farming land being mostly mountainous. As a result they have a diet rich in fish rather than in animal flesh.I'm not saying they are right to kill dolphins but they are in competition with dolphins for food and as such see them as a nuisance.

Re: Real heroes
I know I'm a terrible person, but did anyone else spend more time looking at the pictures of the women in swimsuits than actually reading the article?

Re: Real heroes
There are brave people in this world, however, the real hero's of this country are the people in the forces, who risk their lives every day, some of whom come home to nothing, some who are injured don't even get decent medical help, others come home & live in camps where you wouldn't board your dogs. Very rare you hear about it though.

Re: Real heroes
Talk about double standards. Whilst I object to the practice as pointed out it is no different to the intensively reared animals we have no problem eating.
Guess thats western humanity though, if its cute or fluffy then god forbid touching it but ugly cows and chickens? Kill it.

I don't think cows are ugly.
I know what you mean though.
