The Cable Forum Opinion Poll
As it says on the tin.
We have been denied a General Election, so let's have our own poll here instead.
Please assume that you do have a vote ... no complaining about not being on the electoral register or being too young to vote in real life. If you don't know who to vote for, choose the 'don't know' option. If your party isn't listed, choose 'other' (this includes all Northern Ireland parties).
Vote away!

Re: The Cable Forum Opinion Poll
No Poll as of yet, When it appears, I will most likely select Tory although I am very edgy between them and Labour. One thing a party could do to secure my vote is promise protection for the BBC and no decrease in the license fee.

And you're thinking of voting *Tory*? They still hate the BBC, completely and irrationally. You might as well vote for Christmas to save turkeys.

Re: The Cable Forum Opinion Poll
I voted don't know because I've given up the utopian idea of getting rid of the useless present incumbent who just happens to be Tory. He's been voted in for over 30 years.
I'd accept anyone from any party as an alternative..I'm not proud.
I really can't see them being any worse than the photo opportunistic lazy basket we have at present.

Maybe you should just select 'Don't Know'.

Perhaps they're planning on using the trains to build a barracade to defend the country?

Re: The Cable Forum Opinion Poll
I'd probably deliberately spoil my ballot paper.
I've reached the point of disillusionment with policitians. Ultimately they all say what they think you want to hear, then do something else, and basically make your life worse. All we get is more red tape, more direct or indirect taxation, poorer services, more excuses. (Labour still blames previous Tory government for things, Tories now blame labour for things instead of somebody taking ownership). Very very little that comes our of government is new, it's just a reinvention of the wheel under a new name. Even less actually improves our quality of life. Meanwhile you just know the MP will be lining his pockets at the next self vote for their annual pay increases at our expense.
