Two year old takes a 999 call
A two-year-old girl took a 999 call and helped paramedics treat her mother when she became too ill to speak.

while the title of this thread is the same as the title of the BBC News story, I cannot help but feel it should have read "2 year old MAKES 999 call" as my initial reaction was that some operator allowed their 2 yr old daughter to handle a 999 call...
This isn't aimed at the OP in this thread, but at the BBC for a misleading title.
Back to topic... Wow, the girl showed amazing presence of mind to be able to do that at that age.

I was actually thinking of calling it that because I thought the same thing as you when I read it but if I had called it MAKES then I thought some people would think that the girl rang 999.
