Pensioner genocide: Should we eradicate the elderly after a certain age?

The elderly:

1. They are a danger on the roads, driving everywhere in 3rd gear and taking junctions like corners.

2. They congregate daily in post offices and start forming queues for no good reason meaning you have to wait for 2 hours to mail your ebay packages.

3. They are a drain on the NHS and fill up our hospital beds while they wait for new hips or to get a colostomy bag fitted.

4. They hold up supermarket queues while they fumble about in their purses trying to get the exact change for their shopping.

5. They talk about the war like it was a good thing.

6. They smell funny.

I can't honestly think of one positive to say about the elderly, other than saying that their Bowling Clubs tend to serve cheap booze.

Wouldn't society just be a better place if the elderly were (humanely) put to sleep after a certain age? Maybe the government could send round a hit squad on a certain birthday to administer a lethal injection.

Any thoughts?

Erm and would you volunteer to euthanise your parents when they reach the "right age"?

Yes, no exceptions.

I wouldn't like to think of them aimlessly roaming around post offices in their twilight years.

That reminds me, I've not watched Logan's Run for a while.

It's topical. They adversely affect everyone's life and are hell bent on Post Office domination.

For crying out loud, are you daft or just slightly insane.

Or have you simply been watching Logan's Run?

Either way what a silly thread.

Playing the Devil's Advocate is all very well but you are starting to get tedious. I can only surmise that you are a teenager. and a young one at that.

If he had been watching Logan's Run would that make him less insane or daft?

Re: Pensioner genocide: Should we eradicate the elderly after a certain age?

Oh dear, LMAO

So if they set the age of departing the world at let's say 65, and when you reach that age you are happy, and no longer working and enjoying your retirement, would you enjoy being picked up at your house to be taken to the cemetry as your time is up ?

Who would decide the age it is set at ?

There are millions of elderly people in the Uk at the moment.
If this was put into effect, you'd have a mass killing spree.

C-R-A-Z-Y !
