I think the fact that he was so obviously upset when he and his wife lost their first child and his evident delight when their second child was born probably had something to do with this.Also on the few occasions that he does breakfast time interviews he does come across as rather a nice teddybear of a man...He's ot my type but I can see that he might be to other women.
