I hate football, and violent football idiots even more. They ruin it for the people who enjoy the game, and English football idiots certainly give us a bad name when they start their fighting abroad.

As the article said -
"This is not the fault of football - this is the fault of violent people taking any excuse to be abusive."

Re: Ban football - it causes wife beatings don't it??

If you're willing to resort to domestic violence, then reason doesn't come into it... You aren't a reasoned, nor reasonable human being.

Someone who gets a belt because their partner's team has lost, would get a belt for other things, i'm sure.

A contributing factor, not reason, would be alcohol consumption. If football was the reason for domestic violence, then how comes the worst violence happened when England won?

Also, now might be a good time to point out that domestic violence isn't always one way.

Football does attact a high pencentage of idiots for some reason. Properly because it has a ladish culture. Growing up if you dont like football chances are you wouldnt be friends with the ******s anyway.

Nope. I think it's the fault of football. It encourages warrior like agression against an opposition.

The same interview says that violence towards women increased by 31% on the days that England played. And that the police should take measures to increase protection for the vulnerable as they do when any England match is played as there is an increase in fighting in city centres.

And look at the thugs who fight when they go to see a match.

And they call it a sport.

Sheesh. Has nothing but my contempt.

I would say football attacts those kind of people rather than football causing those kind of people. Those types are nasty idiots who were the bullys in school and grew up with their equally idiotic friends and start fights as well as have little respect for women.

Another question is what makes women attacted to ******s like these?
