A teenager is in a critical condition in hospital after he and his friend were shot in a burger bar.
The pair, both believed to be 17-years-old, were standing in the queue at McDonald's in Brixton, south London when they were gunned down in front of terrified youngsters and families.
The youth who is in a critical condition was shot in the chest while his friend was shot in the arm and is in a stable condition.
Detectives from Operation Trident, which investigates "black on black" gun crime, are investigating the attack.
Detective Constable Luis Martinez said: "The venue was very busy at the time of the shooting and those present - including families with young children - were shocked and terrified by this violent attack.
"We have only a brief description of the gunman at present - he was black and approximately 6ft 1in tall - but if anyone saw the incident or the suspect making off, we need to hear from you. It is believed the weapon was a handgun."

It's a sad reality that these days you can't go out without the thought that you may get kidnapped, shot, sexually abused, Happy Slapped, etc. The list goes on. Terrible stuff.
One of the reasons why I want to get away and live out of the city.

If there's a particular problem in an area caused by gangs of black people attacking other gangs of black people, wouldn't it make sense to have a task force to tackle that major issue specifically?

I used to work for one of the companies that grows lettuce for McD's (and Tesco and Morrisons) and we used to hear even out in the fields wasn't safe, with one worker stabbing another in the leg because he wasn't working fast enough!
