Re: Cuddly toy rescue on M-way
The alternative would have been for daddy to dodge a few buses/lorries/cars and risk the (strong) possibility of his kid seeing him splattered all over the motorway
Nice to see the police doing something decent for a change.

I agree greencreeper, it is not all about fighting crime it's about helping and serving the public people.
I mean you could say the same for firemen when they come out ot rescue a cat from a tree? that they should stick to fighting fires.
Good on the police force.

Yet some may say that if he hadn't let her wave it out the sunroof none of this would have occurred. Not me obviously, I'm not THAT mean.

Tyrone had been found by the time the family arrived at home in Ramsgate on Friday evening. He was sent back in the post and landed on the doormat on Monday, travel-stained from the M11 central reservation.

Some may also say that had he turned round to remonstrate with his daughter, he may well have driven straight into the back of a lorry or across the central reservation

Some might also ask how (if she was properly restrained in te rear of the car, using appropriate seat belts or child restraints) she was able to reach high enough to wave her bear out of the sun roof in the first place
