Shock horror, how is this detective constable allowed to get away saying what all of us including the liberals know.
I though it was taboo to make statements about certain sections of society these days, even if they are true.

It's not irrelevant, I have been saying for a long time that certain crimes are carried out by people of certain nationalities.
I have also said, that whilst I agree people from these countries are a mix of good and bad as in any country, we seem to get more than a fair share of bad ones.
Crime involving fraud by people of foreign origin is very noticable in our local newspaper, and has been for a fair few years. It goes back to crime figures as disgussed in another thread, the figures should include a breakdown of crimes commited by foreign tourists, foreign students, assylum seekers and illegal immigrants.
No one can get away from the fact that many crimes are being commited by these people, and possibly they choose crime because sentences are not so harsh as in their own country.
