I agree with you on that statement, it has nothing to do with being racist. Many of these foreigners who complain knew the terms and conditions here before they chose to settle.
I would not like the traditions and cultures in the majority of muslim countries thats why I wouldn't live in those hell holes. I wouldn't go and live/work in one of those countries even if it was to earn lots of money and send it back to my country of origin for my family and retirement, as many of these muslim complainers are doing.
I find the morales, values and human rights of many muslim countries to be disgusting, perhaps they should channel their energy to put things right in their own beloved country of origin.

There are also similar passages in the Christian Bible, so to seize upon such an aspect as a criticism of Islam is somewhat disingenuous.

I place the blame squarely in front of the liberals door

Because they've had so much power in the world, of course. What rubbish.
[UK - mostly run by the Conservative Party, USA - mostly run by the Republican Party].
Rammers is spotting imaginary liberals again.
Interesting thread - emphasises again that al Qaeda is in many ways the paramilitary wing of the Daily Mail - the form of Islam they espouse is a peculiarly reactionary one which takes no account of the progress of human history over the last thousand years. So you've got the most powerful governments in the world run on right-wing anti-liberal principles and the most influential non-government organisation in the world run on reactionary anti-liberal principles. It's the liberals fault, of course. It's obvious when you put it like that.

Re: Muslims 'right about decadent UK'
They blame "woolly-minded" liberal thinking for society's sliding values. [...]
"Some liberals remain in denial, unwilling to face the decadent consequences of years of their ideas being put into practice, " they write.
Oh that is *rich*! My irony meter is going into overload...!!!
Like we've not had *ANY* "right-wing, conservative, reactionary, string them up, hang them and flog them" policies introduced in the last few decades! Oh no, it's *all* the fault of those "left-wing, politically correct, slap them on the wrist and tell them they're naughty, human rights supporting, bleeding heart liberals"!
Inayat Bunglawala, media representative for the Muslim Council of Britain, said there are many Muslim parents worried about "some of the values and traditions in Britain".
What, you mean things like womens' rights? That they don't have to wear the veil or stay at home and look after the children instead of going out to work? Or maybe that they have the right to the same protections under the law instead of being subject to their husband's rule?
Damn, yes, I can see how that would be worrying!
"Many Muslim parents are concerned at how to protect their children .... they feel that their offspring can be affected by the impact of some aspects of the culture," he said.
So, hang on, they're saying that they don't want to be part of the oh-so-wonderful "British Culture" that people have been espousing, they want to be able to isolate themselves from it and keep to themselves and set up their own little enclaves of Islam...??
the six MPs also issue a warning to their own party, claiming the key to future success is answering "the people's plea for certainty, order and decency", rather than propping up "failed ideas of the liberal elite".
Yep, great idea. Let's smash the Unions' power, bring in longer prison sentences and lock people up for minor offences, bring in ID cards that won't prevent crime or terrorism, tax the poor in greater proportion than the rich, restrict personal freedoms, take away human rights and... ah... err...
(I'm almost tempted to start singing "Tomorrow Belongs to Me!" from Cabaret here...!)

Re: Muslims 'right about decadent UK'
So it's the "British" culture and way of life that allows so many "Muslim Boys" to become spoilt brats, because their mothers spoil them rotten or because they are "not allowed" to admonish them.

Re: Muslims 'right about decadent UK'
These people don't seem to be advocating mere conservatism, more a complete return to Victorian ideals.
The funny thing is, IIRC my school history correctly, the Victorians did exactly the same sort of things we do now (I mean drinking, adultery, drugs in some cases- Obviously they wouldn't have been able to drive cars or play on consoles), they just hid the fact they were doing it.

I thought Labour did - or am I missing something here? And the US isn't "Mostly run by the Republican party", the country is dead split down the middle between the conservative God-fear right, and the lefties.
Trust me, when you go there, even in the deep south, it doesn't feel all that conservative.

Even if we pretend TB is Tory, why don't you look at it from the point of view that if most powerful governments are right wing then there must be a good reason for it. It isn't a fluke, or a scam, they must be doing something right to get voted in.

Sure you aren't thinking of Judaism? In Jewish law, it is forbidden for a man to deny his wife her conjugal rights
Imagine if it was the other way around, the uproar would be deafening.

I'd rather not say just yet, early stages of major planning and upheaval, but well under way, tempting fate and all that. But suffice to say it is English speaking and a long way away.
