That could be worse then leaving a baby in a phonebooth, ( although i am not in any way condoning that ).

Well, when they catch her I hope that they stop her from ever seeing either of her children again. Revoke her passport. Sling her in a cell (after making sure that the other women in there know what she's done) and leave her there to rot.

Nah just stop her ever coming back to the UK, once the guy in Turkey finds out she is useless he will dump her, then she is stuck over in Turkey without her daughter, without income, and without her "lover"

its a funny one innit?
abandoned her daughter of 15, yet at 16 this daughter that is so defencless and immature could be a mother herself legally. Can legally buy cigarettes, can win millions on the national lottery, get married with parental consent and join the armed ofrces with parental consent. But god help someone who leaves her on her own.
Lets keep it in perspective, if at 15 the kid couldnt look after herself or seek help then its a bad show anyway.
Yes we all know the mother shouldnt have done it, but I think at 15 she could either feed herself or find a way to do so. She was hardly helpless.

Although what the mother did was definitely wrong, & it is a horrible & sad situation....it isn't that bad, relatively speaking, when compared to a lot of other cases (e.g. this & various other horrible stories we've seen recently)
So why all these extreme calls for "I hope they hang her" & "I hope she gets left in jail to rot" etc etc?
As TW said, the girl is 15...it's not like a baby or toddler was left alone to fend for itself, & there's been no mention of any history of anything really heinous such as sexual or physical abuse.

Was there not a neighbour who could have kept an eye on her ?
or did the mother just not care ?
i cant judge because
when i was 15 i used to go camping with my mates for 2 and 3 days at a time and there was no mobile phones then so we was alone
and we loved it
but i would have hated my dad to have been jailed for letting me
