I guess and thread about these people causes it because 99% of decent people have no sympathy or time for them.

Actually I think a thread like this causes it because people seem unable to discuss any topic here at the moment without using it as an excuse to air their own grievances - and turn the thread into a "bun fight", more often than not dragging it off topic.

I think many people got their hatred of Gypsies & Travellers off their chest in the other thread that's petered on well past its sell by date over the past couple of months. This seems just to be an excuse to have another go.

EDIT: If there is nothing else to say than "I don't like Gypsies because...." is it not time to close the thread?

Again I will state a few of my best friends are Gypsies and they are some of the most amazing people I know, I can lend them £20 perhaps to fill a van up of Diesel when they are passing through even about 8months later, I get a knock knock and £20 back in my hand.

There is a mysteek about them which makes me respect and envy there life in a kind, those people who are the bad end of gypsies are called within the community of gypsies " dark horses "

Same within our own communities we have our bad familes but we call them CHAV's, YOB's etc.

Nothing different just because they live on a grass patch in a caravan and travel about and breach laws over benefits and tax evasion makes them different to the morons we have in houses doing samething?
