London 2012
Well, tomorrow is the day we find out who won the bid. It seems to be between London and Paris although Madrid is meant to have a change of pipping the bid at the last second.
I really hope that London wins, partly because of what it will mean for London and all the improvements it will make and the increase in tourism. Also for the pride, it will be nice to have London hosting the games (even though i do not watch them). Hosting the games would mean that for a few weeks we will be the center of the world attention . Either way it is an excellent way to promote London!
I also want to win tommorow so Blair can tell Chriac where to shove it. Arrogant git lets see how he likes our food when he comes to the G8, hope he chokes on the CAP too!
COME ON LONDON!

Re: London 2012
The only reason I'd like London to win is 'cos it'd mean Paris had lost
Other than that...really don't care about us hosting the Olympics.

I hope we win, because I'm off to Paris tomorrow to visit my mate over there for a week and the French will no doubt be unbearable if they win.

I doubt it. I'll go and watch some events if we win, but if we don't.... just hope it's not the French if we don't get it.

Blair was said to have boosted our chances with a good speech at the London conference
