I find it interesting that the story gives more attention to the rape of the dog and practically washes over the fact that he is also accused of molesting 2 little girls.

I suspect the dog aspect is more attention grabbing over here. Certainly the first few post have followed that trend. Maybe we are getting "used" to seeing stories of child abuse

Possibly because the dog owner was more prepared to talk to the press than the parents of the two abused girls were to have their children the centre of press attention.I also suspect that the police would not release the names of the two girls concerned.
