Thats right, at least the weather doesn't try to kill us here (usually). My father told me of a winter they had in Latvia when he was a boy........birds froze to death on the trees..........then some of the trees froze to death as well

Re: 10-day Weather Forecast
We'd move up north for the better lifestyle but the weathers even worse up there.
Just got myself 70 acres of Latvian farmland..........lush green, lovely.........but colder than a very cold thing for 6 months of the year

Re: 10-day Weather Forecast
the BBC are a tad more optimistic.
i'd be inclined to believe the beeb, i used the weather.com firefox bar for a couple of weeks and it was consistently and wildly inaccurate!

Re: 10-day Weather Forecast
Pah, it's only light rain, or showers. What's the problem. Our gardens are suffering almost drought conditions.

Re: 10-day Weather Forecast
I didn't know that they could do accurate 10 day forecasts. I thought that the maximum was about a week. Chaos theory, extreme sensitivity to initial conditions, butterflies flapping their little wings and all that stuff.

Maybe you should try residing in Ireland like us, it pretty much rains constantly all year round, it's get's depressing after a while especially when some weather forecaster mentioned a heat wave over here last week.
