True but then we are no better then they are themselves, we need to move on from violence and move into just locking them up. End of the day if the 14yr old boy fired it then perhaps a 6month or 1year in boot camp may sort him out as for the father ( 38yr old mentioned) he should be jailed, that is of course if the courts and police even bother to pursue it being just a cat.

Thats the part which hurts animals get hardly any rights. They are still living beings and should have more rights then they do.

Yeah - they will probably get off with the usual excuses. And of course you can't punish them while they are inside - they have to be educated
Bring back National Service that's what I say! (Only cos I've watched Bad Lads Army, not because I remember it! )
