I think the old saying ''Fight Fire With Fire'' comes to mind...

Re: Cancer girl's hair set on fire
I wonder if things like this are happening more often - or just being reported more more often.
I think things like this are appaling, but no longer a real shock.

Schools are the worst places for kids.

i agree, if i ever have kids i seriously am considering having private teaching for them.
that way the child would have a better chance at suceeding, without distractions and without being possibly bullied or abused, things are getting too 'out of hand' in schools.

I have to admit, I don't think I could have said it better myself.

Somebody red-repped me for this comment. Why?????????
As a Cancer survivor myself, i can understand the pain and anguish this poor girl and her family must have gone through only to have this little c*** set fire to her hair! Come on who ever red-repped me, stop being a bleeding heart about "Harsh lanquage" in my comment and get real. People like you are the one`s who probably are a part of the cause for some kids to turn out the way they do .!

Your anger may be justified but comments like that are not to be used on this site.

thanks Russ - actually budwieser, I'd have been right with you if you had just said burn him back, without the implied profanities/expletives.
I don't think we should get any mileage out of the cancer sideline - sad though it is, to me the point is you do not set fire to someone's hair - ever

But to be put through all that torture of cancer, & losing your hair... (For a girl I'd imagine that'd be hard in any circumstances) and then getting it back, only for some scumbag to burn it off again....

Oh boy thanks very much!!!
So every school where this sort of behaviour DOESN'T happen is swept up into this sort of statement.
FYI some kids aren't even safe at home and find school a sanctuary.
Oh whats the damned point!!!! I'm arguing against typical kneejerk crapola.
