Lazy Customers
I work for a clothing company. Im the supervisor of the service area (tills and fitting rooms).
Any, we decided to do like a little experiment type thing to see what types of clothing are left in the fitting rooms.
Out of 1 day 8am to 8pm (when theyre open) we had this amount of clothing that was left either still hanging in the fitting room or screwed up on the floor.
Size 10 = 23
Size 12 = 20
Size 14 = 27
Size 16 = 33
Size 18 = 57
Size 20 = 51
Not being funny or anything but why is always the larger sized people
They either;
- leave the clothes on the floor
- put the clothing inside out onto the hanger
- dump it on a shelf
Why does everyone think that is?

Re: Lazy Customers
had better not tell me WHERE you work.As a FAT person I might just be inclined to come and deliberately throw clothes on the floor now.

Re: Lazy Customers
I think that post is well out of order Looey.
I think an apology would be in order too.

Or try them on, soil them, then put them back

Perhaps, but there's no need to be rude.

Re: Lazy Customers
I'd put a sign up next to the cubicles and ask customers nicely and politely to put the clothes back where they found them if they do not intend to buy them.

That made me laugh. We have, and the other day someone put "**** off" at the bottom of one. It was funny.

Re: Lazy Customers
The figures are a bit meaningless unless related to the number of people of different sizes who use the fitting rooms. I.e. it could just indicate that the population is getting larger, or that your company is prefered by people of a larger size (or at least was!).

Perhaps they got wind of you doing an experiment to see which types of people were not putting the clothes back?

Re: Lazy Customers
I think if you've got time to worry about what sort of people are leaving clothes in your changing areas and note them down then your manager should be finding you something else to do.
