The Christmas 2004 thread
About 5 weeks away now, I thought I'd kick it off with a nice, cheerful thought...
It's going to be my first Christmas morning waking up on my own....
What goodies are you hoping to get?

Oh yeah, I'll be seeing Alyssa but I'll be waking up on my own. I'll go down to her mother's house in the morning.

Re: The Christmas 2004 thread
i've kinda lost the will to live with xmas. the carols and decorations have been up at work since halloween, it is more than slightly demoralising
PS no one buy a real live xmas tree from homebase, we buy them for £7 but sell them on for £20, or so the rumor goes....

Re: The Christmas 2004 thread
I'll be waking up with my Mrs. Huge dinner, loads of alcohol, the entire family will be round, no doubt Titanic will be on the TV and I'll be forced to sit through it while all the women start booing .. pretty much the same as every other Christmas.

Re: The Christmas 2004 thread
I'll be waking up at 6am for an 8am start in work then finish at 4:30, go to my mums house for some food, a quick go on the PS2 then back home for some gaming and drinking.

Re: The Christmas 2004 thread
Don't know what I'm getting and to be honest it isn't really that important what I get bought but I am actually looking forward to christmas this year since I won't be waking up on my own or to the same old christmas morning routine

Re: The Christmas 2004 thread
If all goes to plan, my son will move into the house he is buying, before Christmas, so this could be the first one without him for 21 years - I'll probably have quite mixed feelings about that.

Re: The Christmas 2004 thread
Over to the parents on Christmas Eve, spend a few days with them, stuff myself with food, back on the 27th. Might have friends round on New Year's Day - push the boat out and make a meal. Pretty much a standard festive season for me.
